New Haven (March 2011) – H. Pearce Real Estate Co. President and CEO Barbara L. Pearce is pleased to announce that Rachelle Edwards has joined the company’s New Haven regional office as an agent. Edwards graduated from Gateway Community College with honors, with an associate degree in liberal arts. She is currently attending Southern Connecticut State University, pursuing a degree in psychology. She is a salon owner and has been a hairstylist for over 20 years. The lifelong New Haven resident was the president of Gateway’s Alpha Xi Theta Chapter of Phi Theta Kappa International Honor Society, where she took the chapter from a two star to a four star level. She is currently the Vice President of the hospitality department of Wayfaring Ministries in Hamden and has been actively involved in the church for 12 years. She participates in community based events through the church and enjoys mentoring and traveling. Edwards is most proud of her roles as wife, mother of three and grandmother of one grandson. She is just starting her career in real estate and chose H. Pearce Real Estate Co. for its “community reputation of service and professionalism.”
